Coming soon: a UX change to improve workflows and provide greater flexibility for dealers and integrators

In the coming weeks, we’ll be adding an additional hierarchy in the organization tree in the Customers Portal to improve workflows and give integrators, dealers, and managed service providers greater flexibility and enhanced security for managing multiple customers.

We’re making this UX update because many integrators were using a single (end) customer tenant to manage multiple customers (as sub trees), and this change was designed to improve the integrator’s/dealer’s experience.

In the left-hand panel with the organization tree, dealers and integrators can add, view, and manage their customers as separate entities, with each customer's data segregated accordingly. In the near future, they’ll also be able to upload logos for each customer. 

Underneath the name of the customer, the tree will open to the different spaces for each entity, organized by location or department or however the customer chooses. 

We recommend sharing this "before and after" graphic and the following message with your integrators and dealers to encourage them to manage their customers in this way.

Add and manage customers in your [name of cloud] cloud in a single view, with the complete segregation of data.

From the Overview screen in the Customers Portal, the left-hand panel will open an organization tree. Add your customers and set up the spaces according to the customer’s preferences, i.e. by location or department. In the near future, you’ll also be able to add the logos for individual customers.
