Control serial number editing

Manufacturers can now decide whether users are allowed to edit device serial numbers. By locking serial number editing at the model level, you can protect device identity, reduce the risk of warranty spoofing, and keep customer-managed inventory accurate without compromising trusted manufacturer data.

To manage this, open the device model settings and choose whether serial number editing should be allowed or locked for that model. When locked, users will see the serial number as read-only.
